StayFocusd - How Does It Work?
What is StayFocusd? It is a productivity extension for Google Chrome that helps you stay focused on work by limiting the amount of time you can spend on some websites. It allows you to block or allow whole sites, specific subdomains, specific paths, specific pages, even specific in-page content (videos, games, images, forms, etc), so you can freely configure it as needed.
How does StayFocusd work? It works as follows:
After you install it, you can access it through the Chrome browser settings. It will ask you to enter the sites you want to block. You can also set a timer for how long you want to be allowed to be on a website. If the time is up, then you are no longer allowed to go to that website.
Once you have used up the time you have allowed for the day, then the sites you have blocked will be inaccessible for the rest of the day. This can be done for each day, week, month, or for the entire year.

Complex block features easily deflected.
Excellent settings. But all I need to do is go Incognito or uninstall the extension (which only takes a second), and I am back on Facebook. :/ More

Brilliant but please make it available on safari!.
